NoteShare Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Just Corp ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the NoteShare mobile application ("NoteShare" or the "App"). NoteShare is an ad-supported app that lets people create and collaborate on shared lists using a share code. You do not need to create an account to use the App.
Information we collect
Shared-list content
When you create or edit a list, NoteShare stores the list's share code, title, description, item text, completion status, item order, item count, and related timestamps in Google Cloud Firestore. This information is collected to provide list storage, synchronization, and collaboration.
Information stored on your device
NoteShare stores joined-list codes, onboarding status, and theme preference locally on your device. Cloud Firestore also caches recently used list documents and items on supported mobile devices so that the App can continue to work when network access is interrupted. Google Mobile Ads and UMP may store consent choices, frequency controls, and other ad-delivery state on your device.
You can clear joined-list codes from the App's settings. Doing so removes the lists from the App's list picker but does not necessarily erase Firestore's local cache and does not delete the shared list stored in Cloud Firestore. Clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App removes NoteShare's local preferences and app-local Firestore cache.
Advertising and technical information
NoteShare uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage consent where required. Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google settings, Google may automatically collect or receive information including your IP address and approximate location derived from it, app interactions, diagnostic information, App Set ID, advertising identifiers, and, where applicable, identifiers related to accounts signed in on the device. Google may use this information for advertising or marketing, analytics, personalization where permitted, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance.
NoteShare does not request or collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or payment information. The App does not require your name, email address, or telephone number for ordinary use.
How information is used
- To create, store, synchronize, and display shared lists.
- To let people collaborate using a share code.
- To remember local preferences and previously joined lists.
- To display and measure advertisements after any required consent step.
- To diagnose problems, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect the service.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
When information is shared
Anyone who has a valid list share code can view and modify the corresponding shared list. Treat a share code like a link intended for the people with whom you want to collaborate, and do not place sensitive personal information in a shared list.
If you select the App's Share action, NoteShare sends invitation text that contains the list's share code to the operating system's share sheet. You choose the receiving app and recipient. Their handling of that invitation is governed by the privacy practices of the service you select.
We use the following service providers:
- Google Firebase and Cloud Firestore, which host and synchronize shared-list content. Firebase also automatically processes technical metadata such as operating-system information, device model, brand, device form factor, installer source, and Firebase SDK names and versions to provide, maintain, and improve the service and measure platform and version adoption.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google UMP, which provide advertising, consent controls, measurement, and invalid-traffic prevention.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell shared-list content.

Advertising choices and consent
Where required, NoteShare asks for consent before requesting ads. If Google determines that privacy options must remain available, the App displays a privacy-options control that lets you review or change eligible consent choices. You can also manage advertising controls through your device and Google account settings. The availability and effect of each choice depend on your region and applicable law.
Retention and deletion
Shared-list content remains in Cloud Firestore until we process a valid deletion request or it is otherwise deleted from the Firebase project; the App does not currently assign an automatic expiry date. Joined-list codes remain in NoteShare's preferences until you remove them in settings, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Recently used Firestore content may remain in the app-local cache until you clear the App's storage or uninstall the App. Advertising, consent, and diagnostic information is retained by Google according to Google's policies.
To request deletion of a shared list or other information you provided, email justcorp.idea@gmail.com with the relevant share code and the words "NoteShare deletion request". Because NoteShare has no accounts, identity records, or ownership records, a share code demonstrates current access to a list but does not prove who originally created it. We may ask you to confirm current access or provide other details reasonably necessary to locate the data, prevent an unauthorized deletion, and process the request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and rely on Google-hosted services to transmit and store remote data. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for sharing list codes only with people you trust.
Children's privacy
NoteShare is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through NoteShare, contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Our service providers apply their contractual and legal safeguards to such processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to NoteShare, our service providers, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date.
